Linebacker Foyesade Oluokun was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft and spent the first four years of his career with the franchise.
The Yale product has been extremely durable across his first six seasons, suiting up for at least 15 games in every campaign.
Oluokun recorded a career-high four forced fumbles and 3.0 sacks, nine quarterback hits, four tackles for loss and four passes defended in 2020 despite missing the only contest of his career. He was even better during his final season in Atlanta in 2021, posting career highs in combined tackles (league-leading 192), passes defended (six) and interceptions (three).
The 28-year-old Oluokun then signed with Jacksonville in March 2022 and helped lead the group to its only playoff appearance in the last six years. Oluokun led the NFL in combined tackles (184) and solo tackles (career-high 128) that season while posting career-bests in tackles for loss (12) as well.
He led the NFL in solo tackles again in 2023 (111), registered career highs in quarterback hits (10) and fumble recoveries (three) and tied his high mark in passes defended (six). Oluokun paced the Jaguars in combined (173), solo and assisted tackles (62) last season.
The former Bulldog is expected to be a part of the team's same starting linebackers unit from 2023, which includes two-time Pro Bowler Josh Allen, 2022 first-round pick Devin Lloyd and 2022 first-overall pick Travon Walker.
